Data

We will use the Fire Department Calls for Service dataset from DataSF. This dataset includes all fire units' responses to calls. Calls can involve multiple units so there can be many rows with the same call number. The license for the data is as follows:

3 Incident Number A unique 8-digit number assigned by DEM to this Fire incident. Text [20019300, 20019299,...]

27 Number of Alarms Number of alarms associated with the incident. This is a number between 1 and 5. Numeric [1-5]

29 Unit sequence in call dispatch A number that indicates the order this unit was assigned to this call. Numeric [1-83] (can be blank)
