Hello everyone, my name is Steven Rokkala and I love Java and Javascript because of how versatile they are. In my free time, I like to watch and play sports.
In general, we might have some impression of what firefighters do, but what about some facts and details of the works of superheroes in our real life that we don't really know?
What different kinds of work do they do everyday to help people? When is the busiest season for their work? In range of San Francisco, how are the incidents distributed in neighborhoods? Which unit do SFFD dispatch to the scene?
These intriguing questions are awaiting, and we are going to figure out in our data visualizations.
Our theme is about a 2019 yearly report on work distribution of SFFD in serveral perspective, and how the resource of SFFD had been used in that year. In our visualizations, data during 2019 was extracted to explore from perspectives of neighborhood, date, call types and unit types in SFFD's work. After the exploration, we might have some idea that how their work distributed by time, by type and by places. It could be potentially referable for the sake of SFFD's future work: if they should deploy some resource more on some neighborhoods, or how should they plan for future stations according to the distribution of their previous work; briefly saying, to see how the usage of those reouses can be improved!
We filtered and sorted the original dataset first and we all focus the data in 2019. Alex focused on the general information for each community(More Information). Paul digged the data from the two community wich has largest number of records: South Of Market and Tenderloin(More Information). Steven did the research about the number of life endangering alarms run in San Francisco(More information)

Interested in Data visualization, Brain-Computer Interaction, Game development, and more. Dedicated to using technology to bring more convenience, safety and peace to the world. A Slytherin.
To prepare for my career, I am pursuing my education degree from the University Of San Francisco and majoring in Computer Science and Marketing. I know theoretical applications and have individual ability to help develop new technology to solve many of the problems associated with the computer industry.
Each of teammates built a prototype, Steven proofreaded the dataset issue, Paul reorganized each teammate's own web page for structure of the group's website, Alex did dataset analysing, theme choosing and organizing.
