I am a First year Computer Science Masters student at University of S∏an Francisco. I completed my Bachelors from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in the field of "Mechanical Engineering" and specialization in "Industrial Engineering".

I am a former research scholar at Universidad Polytecnia de Catalunya, Barcelona in the field of Robot-Motion Planning. I also have a two year Research experience in the field of Control Systems

My favourite field in computer science is Security Systems.

Why I choose this dataset?

I chose SF Police Department Incident Reports dataset because, I wanted to figure out weather the crime is reduced due to the current circumstance in San Francisco, and what incident type is prevalent in each neighborhood.
Also, this dataset has over 337k incident records for -

  • 75 different types of crimes
  • 15 neighborhoods
  • 11 district
