About
Every two years, the Commission publishes Federal Elections, a compilation of the official, certified federal election results obtained from each state’s election office and other official sources. The above links provide the primary, runoff and general election results for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives and, when applicable, U.S. President

Data Size
I pulled data on the 1984-2016 presidential elections from the Federal Elections Committee website at http://www.fec.gov. The size is 16 columns and 13436 rows. The dataset for map is state-level, and the dataset for scatter plot is county-level; Since there are too may counties in the US, I filter the dataset from 2004 to 2016 for my scatter plot visualization.
